About the Owner of Mowgli's Lead and Lodge:Mowgli is our resident Golden Retriever. He is the whole reason I decided to start working with dogs. I may have rescued him, but he saved me. Mowgli is the heart behind Mowgli’s Lead and Lodge Ltd — the inspiration, the namesake, and the reason our standards of care are so high. A gentle, affectionate companion with a calm and steady nature, Mowgli embodies everything we believe dog care should be: patient, reassuring, structured, and full of genuine warmth. His love for routine, outdoor adventures, and cosy home comforts shaped the way we designed our walking, day care, and home‑boarding services.
Every dog who stays with us is welcomed into the same peaceful, homely environment that Mowgli enjoys every day. His influence is woven into our approach: small numbers, personalised attention, safe socialisation, and a home‑from‑home atmosphere where dogs can relax, play, and feel completely at ease. Mowgli reminds us that every dog deserves to be understood as an individual — and that’s exactly how we care for them.
